The mini-album "Soulshard" presents a tale about the fragility of human life, about emotional upheaval and, at the same time, about insignificance of all these things when you consider the size of the Universe.

M42, the project’s leader, describes his work on the album: “Soulshard” was recorded in the style which was designed for NEBULA ORIONIS from the very beginning. Most of the material was composed in 2012 – 2014, and was embodied into reality just now, when the experience and capabilities allowed to achieve the required sound and build the composition in the way I’m satisfied with".

One of the most majestic and imposing albums I have ever listened to. No other project is able to convey the uncompromising beauty and might of the vast cosmos like Mesarthim does. Russian Atmospheric / Post-Black Metal. This is absolutely stunning music for the most part. Every now & then it seems to get a little lost & too ambient for my liking but overall, what an album & another great find by Avantgarde! Highly recommended! bmurator

It is Mesarthim, what else is there to say? They are Australian and they are *the* best! Such a listening experience has no equal I believe. There is no problem big enough that listening to any of their albums does not help. This is one of their best I believe! Another great find by Avantgarde Music & highly recommended!!! bmurator
