The alliance of BEVERINA and CASUS BELLI MUSICA presents a debut album of Cascadian black metal act FOREST OF GREY (Seattle, USA) - “Crypsis”.

The album will be released in CD format on May 15, 2018.

Crypsis is predatory camouflage. This piece outlines various connections bridging civility to its carnal roots. A monotonous dirge veiled over shadowed chaos. A hypnotic passage of cognitive discord reflected in ancient mysticism and primeval occult.

The album’s cover art and design were created by Vladimir Prokofyev (Paint-It-Black).

It took me a little while, to like this one, the second half of this album is very good. But the first half is less strong, it appeared as messy too me, the 'metallic' sound of the drums throw me off, whereas the latter half each song is very well composed and made me take to patience to listen through. Sure one that will to enjoy more and more after few more listens, I can adopt this album. Marty

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did!
